Pencil on watercolour paper, then edited and coloured in Photoshop. The colouring was pretty experimentative, so I'm very interested in hearing what you think about it :)

Uncoloured version: [link]

I like to see the coloured and the uncoloured versions as two separate pictures, though.

There are lots of folk motives in your art... Norwegian, Swedish, like that. I love that so much.

Thank you! Indeed, I am very inspired by our Scandinavian folk fairy tales with their strange creaures of the woods, both monstrous and beautiful. I still read the old tales, and they are very close to my heart

yeah, yeah, me too. I love Scandinavian, German, Slavic folk. Monstrosity and beauty together is the greatest art concept, this is what I'm trying to strive for and what I love in any art.. And you manage to do it!:3 The art of literature I love combines monstrosity and beauty too - Poe, Wells, Bradbury, Hoffmann, Gogol.
I also like the illustrations of Scandinavian fairy-tales from John Bauer.
Do you use runes?)
